Glamourina tee
Glamourina tee is distantly related to my Glamourina blouse. The family resemblance shows in the beautiful neckline and the twisted rib sections. Otherwise, they differ from each other in material, shape, and construction.
The model is worked from the top down. Partly after Susie Myers contiguous technic. First the neckline and shoulders are shaped with my special GSR. Then the work is split into back and front, which are worked separately before later being joined again and worked in the round in pattern. The body can be worked straight down, with a slight A-line shape, or with waist shaping, while different GSR sections shape the body. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and once again GSR shape the sleeve.
Gauge is 20 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm. This gauge suits many summer yarns. Yarn alternatives could be Drops Belle and Sandnes Line (though you would not get the tweed look and the texture that the Elena yarn has).
You need between 850 meters and 1375 meters of Elena - if You do follow the pattern to the letter. However, in several places in the pattern, there are ideas for how the tee can be adjusted, and the pattern provides instructions for 3 different body shapes. The yarn amount is estimated for a model that is boxy, has waist dec., and does not have lengthened sleeves. If these parts are adjusted, it will affect the yarn consumption.
