Glenfiddich is a top-down, seamless cardigan with V-neck and cable patterns on back and fronts.
Upper back part is worked first from shoulders to the underarms, then the stitches of the fronts are picked up from the cast on edges of the back shoulders and fronts are worked to the underarms.
Then the pieces are joined and worked in one piece to the hem.
The stitches of the sleeve caps are picked up around the armholes then they are shaped with short rows.
Sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to the cuff.
Finally the the collar and front bands are worked in rib pattern back and forth in rows.


Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat with larger needle after blocking
20 sts and 28 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit in the round (sleeves) with larger needle after blocking
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge

Needles
· 80 cm/32” circular needle in each of the following sizes: 4.0 mm/ US 6 and 3.5 mm/ US 4 (or size to obtain gauge)
· 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) in each of the following sizes: 4.0 mm/ US 6 and 3.5 mm/ US 4 for working in small circumferences (optional)

40 cm/16” circular needles and dpns are optional if you prefer the Magic Loop Method for working small circumferences in the round.

Notions
