Glimmer
“Today I learned about a term called a “Glimmer” which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for these glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more“
I came across this quote last year and it really spoke to my heart so I wanted to design what I thought a Glimmer would look like! I made it a keychain so it would be a market friendly make and something people can keep with them to remind themselves to look for glimmers throughout their day!
Myself and my testers used Bernat blanket yarn when making these but any super bulky weight yarn would work! It takes approximately 14 yards of yarn.
The keychain and gem are optional. I used 8 mm eyes but embroidered eyes would also look adorable!
I’ve included a bonus PDF file with this pattern of printable tags that you can attach to your Glimmer keychain.
I hope you enjoy this pattern and it brings you as much joy in making it as it does for me
