This hat is worked from the bottom up with the granny square portion being joined to it partway through. The pattern has photo tutorials in it, and links to videos for help with the special stitches and techniques used in it. This pattern will make an average adult size hat and includes instructions for both a regular and messy bun version as well as an airy spring time version that is open behind the granny squares. It is an advanced beginner/intermediate level pattern and I’m always available if you have questions or need help.

You will need a 5.5 mm hook and your choice of any 4 weight worsed yarn in one of more colours.
