Glópavor means “fool´s spring” which is exactly what happens here in Iceland, when the days start getting longer. The winter fools you over and over again, you think that this time, spring has finally arrived, but it has not. We know this, and yet we are optimistic and believe in early spring, in spite of all our knowledge and experience… And it really helps to have some color on your needles.
Glópavor is a half-circle pi shawl, with simple lace and a garter chevron edge. It knits up quickly and is a fun knit. Cast on some spring colors and join the impatient waiting for spring!
