Glow Up is a top-down women’s sweater with dropped shoulders, knitted with one strand of Alix and one strand of Soyeux mohair held together.

The design plays on a very soft, organic asymmetry, created by a slightly offset shoulder construction and a boat neckline that is deliberately wide and shallow. The back is worked flat with shoulder short rows, then the fronts are built separately before being joined. A subtle textured panel runs along the long shoulder of the design and gradually dissolves into the sleeve, like a textile vibration felt more than actually seen.

Glow Up is designed as a fluid, living garment: a sweater that slips gently off the shoulders without ever losing its structure or its simplicity. The mohair halo blurs the lines and softens the contrasts of the Alix yarn, creating a soft, luminous, enveloping silhouette.

Glow Up is also the name of the colourway used for the prototype, a true favourite discovered at La Bien Aimée’s Pop Up.

I loved the idea that a design could carry the name of a colour that immediately calls up an emotion, a memory, a particular light. It is also a nod to my daughter, who loves the expression and taught me to love it in turn.


I found it beautiful that a garment could tell that story: something that changes gently, without a break, simply through light, movement and texture.

Glow Up est un pull femme top-down à épaules tombantes, tricoté avec un brin d’Alix et un brin de Soyeux mohair tenus ensemble.

Le modèle joue sur une asymétrie très douce et organique, créée par une construction d’épaules légèrement décalée et une encolure bateau volontairement large et peu profonde. Le dos est travaillé à plat avec des rangs raccourcis d’épaules, puis les devants sont construits séparément avant d’être rejoints. Un panneau texture discret accompagne l’épaule longue du modèle et se dissout progressivement dans la manche, comme une vibration textile plus ressentie que réellement visible.

Glow Up est pensé comme un vêtement fluide et vivant : un pull qui glisse légèrement sur les épaules, sans jamais perdre sa structure ni sa simplicité. Le halo du mohair vient flouter les lignes et adoucir les contrastes du fil Alix pour créer une silhouette douce, lumineuse et enveloppante.

Glow Up est aussi le nom du coloris utilisé pour le prototype, un véritable coup de cœur découvert lors du Pop Up de La Bien Aimée.

J’aimais l’idée qu’un modèle puisse porter le nom d’une couleur qui évoque immédiatement une émotion, un souvenir et une lumière particulière. C’est aussi un clin d’œil à ma fille, qui adore cette expression et me l’a fait aimer à mon tour.


Je trouvais beau qu’un vêtement puisse raconter cela : quelque chose qui se transforme doucement, sans rupture, simplement par la lumière, le mouvement et la matière.
