Gloxinia is a true crescent shawl that utilizes lace, beads, and cables to create the bell-shaped motif.

Tassels, fringe, or dangles of the same or a contrasting color can be added afterward to add a bit of flair to the clapper of each bell.

Gloxinia can be made in either a single strand of fingering weight or two strands of lace-weight held together.
