This bonnet is worked flat until the decrease where it is joined for the round. The edging is moss stitch and the main body is gooseberry bobble stitch. After the bonnet is finished, stitches are taken up to work the neck band and strap. A button is then sewed in place.

This bonnet is very snuggly and warm, and will stay in place because of the neck band and button.

Instructions are included describing how the bobble stitch is done, and what the abbreviations mean.

Gauge is: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) = 23 st x 30 rows in stockinette

You will need double pointed needles or circular needles for working in the round. 30 cm/ 12 in cable.

Sizes are: 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (1-2 years)
