This is a lovely lacework bonnet with a chin strap rather than ties like many bonnets. This is ideal for reducing risk of ties becoming undone and the bonnet falling off. The strap offers a bit of warmth for the neck as well as it comes down a bit from the body of the bonnet.

Skills required are knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog, slip knit pass. Also sewing chin strap and the seam.

The lacework is worked from a chart reading from right to left and purled on all wrong side rows. Decrease is worked flat and a seam joins the cap together.

Extra materials needed are needle and thread and a button for the chin strap. Also a large needle for sewing seam and strap onto piece.

All proceeds earned from the sale of patterns in my shop on the seventh day Sabbath will be donated to spreading the gospel of Jesus.

When determining which sales are to be donated I consider the buyers time zone as well as mine. Sabbath begins at sunset Friday and ends sunset Saturday. May the Lord bless your purchase and your knitting. :)
