The Gordon Street Shawl is unique for its geometric design of interlocking diamonds. A triangle shawl; starting at the center top and bound off along the bottom edge; grows quickly in this fun and easy lace motif. People have often told me that the pattern is reminiscent of crocheted granny squares! This shawl is a must-have for your knitted shawl collection!

Materials:
2 Skeins of Ella Rae Lace Merino or approx. 800 yards of 4ply lace weight yarn
US5 3.75 32” circular needle
Some marker of different colours (optional)
Wool needle (for weaving in ends)

Skill Used: Basic lace stitches, reading charts, using markers

Measurements:
A triangle, approx. 72” end to end, 26” top to bottom

Gauge: One diamond repeat measures approximately 5.5 inches. Gauge is not crucial to this project. If changing yarn weight, use a needle a bit larger than suggested on the ball band.
