Note
Sweater is worked from top down. After shaping a round yoke with evenly spaced increases, body and sleeves are separated. Body is then worked in the round in stockinette, while sleeves are set aside. Two-color cable panels are knit flat using a provisional cast-on and 3-needle bind-off, then seamlessly joined to body and sleeves with a crocheted seam. Finally, body hem and both sleeve cuffs are finished in seed stitch. Most importantly, maintaining specified stitch gauge and panel dimensions is essential, as vertical body and sleeve pieces attach to horizontal cable panels using a crocheted seam.

Note
トップダウンで編むセーター. 均等に増目して丸ヨークを編んだら, 身頃と袖を分ける. 袖を休めておき, 身頃をメリヤス編みで輪で編む. 2色のケーブルパネルは, 後でほどける作り目の方法と引き抜きはぎの方法を使い往復編みで編み, 引き抜きとじで身頃と袖に綴じつける. 最後に身頃の裾と袖口を鹿の子編みで仕上げる. 特に重要なことは, 縦方向に編む身頃と袖を横方向に編むケーブルパネルと引き抜きとじで綴じ合わせるため, 指定のゲージとパネルのサイズを維持すること.
