Pattern includes instructions on how to convert this hat to a Sock Monkey (including intarsia charts for the lips), a Brown Bear, a Panda and a Hippo.

My husband’s Aunt had been looking for a knitted monkey infant hat pattern for her soon-to-be-born grandson that featured little arms that hugged onto the infant’s head. Having been unable to fnd anything I offered to design one for her instead. The outcome I have to admit is SUPER adorable, and so I’m so glad she brought it up, and I’m glad I was in a position to offer.
