Sunny Days Flower Bucket Hat

A quick note about reading it on the website. It’s a bit of a beast. And because I added so many photos, it’s too long to be on one page. Since you need to make 5 granny squares before moving forward to make the hat, I made a separate page with the DIY photos to make the granny squares. If you don’t need photos, the granny square instructions are written out (without photos) on the hat page. There are easy to find links on the hat page if you need to access the how-to granny square photos. But back to the pattern…

Using a single crochet hook 3.5 mm (size E or 4) and worsted weight yarn, the stitches are tight. This lets you make a larger brim and shape it to any position you’d like. The hat is certain to be a hit for the warmer weather!

If you have basic crochet skills, you can easily make this project in a single day. Using basic stitches to make the hat, any extra help needed for the flowers and leaves is shown with a bunch of photos.
