Quick and fun to knit dishcloth combining my 2 favorite patterns: Granny’s Favorite and Chinese Waves.

Knit diagonally using any cotton dishcloth yarn, the size can be changed by making more or less stitches for the last row before decreasing.

Alternating rows of garter stitch (Granny’s Favorite) and slip stitch (Chinese Waves) make a dense fabric good for scrubbing dishes.

Eyelet edging and yarn-over at the start of each row makes a nice border.
