Grayscale Pop Wrap
I knew exactly what I wanted the pattern to be for the 2025 Suburban Stitcher advent before I even dyed the colors. I knew it needed to be easy to knit and have some fun details to give the design some movement. This wrap goes with everything, is very easy to wear as a shawl or scarf, and has that fun POP of color! It is designed for my Grayscale POP! Advent calendar, but it is versatile enough to work for scrappy projects, or other advent calendars.
This pattern is written for 24 20-gram minis and 1 100-gram skein of sock yarn.
The size of the wrap is generous, allowing it to be styled in many different ways.
Yarn – Suburban Stitcher 2025 Grayscale POP! Advent Calendar, or 24 mini skeins and 1 full skein of fingering weight yarn. The sample is knit with approximately 11 grams from each mini skein, and 55 grams from the full skein, for an approximate total of 1525 yards (1395 meters).
Needles – US 6 (4.0mm) circular needle 32” (80 cm) or longer. You may require a different needle size to achieve suggested pattern gauge.
Notions – tapestry needle, blocking mats & pins, locking stitch marker to mark RS of project.
Finished Wrap Size – approximately 90” x 18” (228.6 x 45.7 cm)
Gauge – 24.5 stitches x 30 stitches over 4” in pattern. Gauge is not critical, but will impact the finished product size.
