These lacy mittens might look tricky, but the lace pattern is quite easy to memorise, it has a minimal number of purl stitches as the mittens are worked in the round.

For two mittens I’ve used just over 30g of 4ply yarn, which makes them very economical to knit out of the loveliest yarns.

Correction:
Even though in the pattern for Fern lace for the wrong side it says K13, p2, K to end, the actual fern pattern is a 28 stitch repeat and is only worked on the front of the mitt, so it should be K13, p2, K13, then knit to end of round.
