Sneg means snow in Russian. This shawl is perfect for winter as it wraps nicely around the neck to sit neatly under a coat or a jacket, or can be draped over the shoulders to keep warm at home or in the office. The lace motifs keep the pattern interesting but it is quite intuitive with no complex stitches. The shawl is knitted top down in one piece.

Stitches used: knit, purl, k2tog, SSK and YO.
I included three little charts for the main repeat of the lace patterns used for convenience, but the instructions are all written out row by row.
