I found inspiration for these mittens and gloves in the beauty of the Dutch dykes where, in late summer, the grass is growing up to a meter high. When the wind plays with the long stems of the grasses it looks like a green sea.
The stitch I used for these mittens and gloves reminds me the seeds of these grasses.

The seed stitch is made by yarn over’s and pass over’s.

The mittens have a all over pattern stitch where the gloves has fingers and a thumb in stocking stitch.

Mittens suitable for size 7 – 8 = hand circumference 17 – 20 cm.
Gloves suitable for size 7 – 7.5 = hand circumference 17 – 18.5 cm.
