Grommet is a cap sleeved cardigan-vest hybrid that is knit entirely in one piece with no finishing! The soft hand of this wool, llama and silk blend is a dream to knit with and, using a large needle size, you are sure to speed through this project. The result is a garment with a lovely drape and a flattering silhouette for any body type.

Skill Level: Uses basic knit and purl, simple lace eyelet row, and long-tail cast on (to make tidy edges that need no applied border). This project is an ideal first-time sweater as it knit in bulky yarn and requires no seaming. Help videos available at www.knittinghelp.com

MATERIALS:
3 (4, 5, 6) skeins Diamond Luxury Llama Silk or 600 (700, 800) yards of Chunky weight yarn
7mm 80cm circular needle
tapestry needle for sewing in ends
Stitch markers

SIZING:
Designed for a relaxed fit; Actual measurements- Small- 36.5 inches; Medium- 39 inches; Large- 41 inches;
Extra Large- 44 inches

GAUGE: 14sts= 4 inches in Stocking St using 7mm needle.

PATTERN NOTE: This design does not have buttonholes. If you like, add buttonholes on the right side garter edge of the yoke, in between the eyelet ridges. It can also be closed with a shawl pin.
