This is a cute and funny grown-up version of the classic baby cap. It is fairly closefitting but not too tight. It will protect you from wind and cold, and it’s fun to knit and wear!

SIZE
One size fits most adults (57-61 cm/22-24 inches head circumference). For a smaller or bigger size, use lighter or heavier yarn and adjust needle size.

YARN
70-90 g/2.5-3.2 oz of heavy fingering or sport weight yarn.

The sample was knit with 72 g/2.5 oz of Tasmania Corridale (100% wool; 102 m/111 yd per 45 g/1.6 oz).

NEEDLES
3.5 mm (US 4) and 3.0 mm (US 2 ½) circular needles or DPNs.

GAUGE
20-21 sts x 29-30 rnds per 10 cm (4”) in stockinette st.
