Gry Top
Gry Top is a classic and feminine top with a beautiful Nordic expression. It is worked from the bottom up and features elegant 1 x 1 rib edges with twisted knit stitches, giving it a refined and relaxed look.
This is a timeless and highly versatile top that fits perfectly into any wardrobe. The design focuses on refined details, with clean rib edges and a subtle welt as a transition between the top and the rib edges, creating an exclusive and refined finish.
The pattern has been developed to be suitable for newer knitters as well. You will find clear explanations and flexibility throughout the pattern, allowing you to choose the solution that suits you best. The pattern includes two different cast-on methods and two different bind-off methods so you can choose your level of difficulty. In addition, you may choose whether to work the decorative welt between the top and the rib edges or omit it for a simpler look. The top shown in the photos is worked with the welt, but both versions are described in the pattern.
Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.
