Gypsy
The Story:
Gypsy is the result of a gorgeous Japanese yarn, too much time on my hands and a roadtrip. This headscarf has a bit of a boho chic type of vibe and something decidedly hippy to it. I started looking around for a headscarf pattern when we planned to go away for a roadtrip and I needed something to knit in the car. The only patterns I found were either too big, too lacy or too old. So armed with my 8mm bamboo needles I set to work with my design book and worked out a simple and beautiful lacy pattern. Paired up with Noro’s Silk Garden in earthy browns and greens Gypsy was born. I have fallen in love with this pattern and I wear mine at every oppurtunity. There are two versions…. so far. I trust there will be heaps to follow
