Our rectangular shaped tissue box cover is a single-size pattern using DK yarn, knitting in lace and 4mm needles. The finished measurement is approximately 9” width x 2.75” height x 4.5” depth (23cm width x 7cm height x 11cm depth)

This pattern uses a simple 4-row stitch pattern so you can knit it up in no time at all. We’ve illustrated ours in Christmas coloured knitting in lace to make it part of a lovely table decoration. This tissue box cover would look good in any colour and can be used all year round.

To knit this tissue box cover, you will need to be able to knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together and increase by knitting into the front and back of a stitch and use knitting in lace.

You will need:

100g of DK yarn with a standard tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch on 4mm needles. You will also need 4.5m (312) holes of knitting in lace

1 x pr 4mm needles
