For this design, I decided to include all my favorite elements of a hand knit sock. There’s a 1x1 twisted rib, a simple repeat running down the foot with a little ribbing for best fit, and form fitting heels and toes without excess bunching fabric. Opting for a neutral grey by Life in the Long Grass in their 75/25 base, which caught my eye at Loop London, and US 1.5 (2.5mm) needles, the fabric works into a tough but stretchy sock, perfect for all different sizes of feet. This design works best with a neutral or a soft speckle yarn for a more sophisticated and classic look but contrasting heels, toes, and cuffs could make them very unique and fun.
