INTERMEDIATE DIFFICULTY pattern worked mostly in the BACK LOOPS. Some sewing skills are also required in addition to crochet.

Please note: finished hanar will not stand on its own as pictured. The legs are suitable for wiring though if you would like posable legs. The hanar pictured in the listing has been carefully posed to give the illusion of standing.

Skills (and Abbreviations)
• st/sts: stitch/stitches
• rnd/rnds: round/rounds
• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• sl: slip stitch
• inc: increase (2 sts in same st)
• dec: dec (sc 2 sts together)
• Sewing: whip stitch and/or running stitch to join pieces
All rnds are continuous, and you will be working in the BACK LOOPS ONLY (BLO) for the most part. There are some sections that are FRONT LOOPS ONLY.

Tools and Materials
• Size F crochet hook
• Stitch marker(s)
• Yarn needle
• Pins to hold pieces while seaming (bobby pins work great!)
• Worsted weight yarn in pink (I used Red Heart Ombre ‘Jazzy,’ but you can definitely use a solid pink)
• Polyfil or other stuffing material
Gauge: approx. 4 sts/inch and 4 sc rows/inch
Finished hanar will measure about 20” from the taller head knob to the bottom of the leg tentacles.
