I used a really simple technique that makes working with fur yarn super easy. The bear is constructed with regular yarn first, then the fur yarn is worked over the existing stitches, making it easy to see each stitch as you’re working into it. You get all the fluffiness with none of the headache!

since he is so soft and fluffy and just the right size.

The finished bear measures 13” long and 6.5” wide.

Materials Required:
●Body Color - 2.5 oz. of Sport Weight (2) yarn. I used Knit Picks Brava Sport. The color is not important because it’s covered by the fur yarn.
●Fur Yarn - TWO 3.5oz skeins (5 oz total needed). I used Yarn Bee, Snuggle Up in the color Mink
●Black Yarn - scrap amount for eyes. I used bulky weight but you can use smaller weight and double it
●Snout Regular Color- scrap amount of Sport Weight (2)
White Yarn. I used Knit Picks Brava Sport.
●Snout Fur Color - scrap amount of light weight (3) yarn. I used Yarn Bee, Cloud 9 in the color Cream
● 26mm Safety Nose

● 2.5 mm Hook
● PolyFiber Filling
● Poly pellets and nylon to place pellets in to help keep the bear balanced.
