This pattern is currently unavailable until further notice, as it was one of my older, pre-tech editing patterns. Sorry for any inconvenience!

My sister recently saw a honeycomb brioche stitch scarf at a store, and excitedly asked me for it. Well, I tried knitting the honeycomb brioche stitch, and quickly saw that it was going to take me much longer than I would like to make a simple scarf. Thus was born the cabled version of her desired scarf.

This deliciously squishy cabled scarf has the popular honeycombs without the headache of the brioche stitch.

I chose to use two strands of worsted/aran weight yarn held together, but I imagine that you could easily use one strand of chunky weight and get a similar result (nb. I have NOT tested this theory!)

I also opted to stop for a short scarf as I need it for a late Christmas present, but you could easily keep going for a longer scarf.
