Harbor Vest

A warm, easy-to-layer vest designed with the idea of a harbor in mind.

Just as a harbor shelters boats from the wind and waves, Harbor Vest was designed to feel like a piece that gently protects you when you step outside.

It offers the freedom of movement of a vest while keeping you comfortably warm, making it a reliable layer for changing seasons and windy days.

Whether you’re walking in nature or simply going about your everyday life, it’s an easy piece to throw on and head outside.

Difficulty
Recommended for knitters who have completed at least one garment.

This is a written pattern.
Video tutorials are included for the more detailed techniques, including the zipper sections, making the pattern approachable even if these techniques are new to you.

Construction
Harbor Vest is worked from the top down.

First, the back is worked flat in 1×1 Rib. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, and the front pieces are worked separately.

The front and back are joined at the underarms and worked in the round. The collar is then worked, and the body is continued to the hem according to the length of the zipper.

Finally, the zipper facings are worked and the zipper is sewn in to finish the vest.

概要（ざっくりとした手順）
このベストはトップダウンで編みます。

まず背中のパーツを1目ゴム編みで編み、肩の目を拾い、前身頃を編んでいきます。

脇下で前後身頃を合わせ、輪で編み進めます。襟を編み、ジッパーの長さに合わせてボディを裾まで編み進めます。

最後にジッパー周りのパーツを編み、ジッパーを縫い付けて完成です。
