This pattern appeared in Erika Knight’s book Essential Crochet in 2005/2006, and in Let’s Knit! Magazine #30 in May 2010. It is a circular cushion cover, crocheted from the centre outwards, in multi-coloured concentric stripes, using DK yarn. Two identical sides of the cover are made: the edges are then crocheted together and closed permanently over the cushion pad. The fringed edging is then crocheted around the perimeter.

The recommended yarn shades were updated in the 2010 version, due to discontinued shades. Eight different shades are required for the 2010 version: (a) 509 sunset; (b) 536 torrid; (c) 522 smoulder; (d) 514 reed; (e) 546 loganberry; (f) 528 brilliant; (g) 537 summer berry; (h) 530 toast. Other requirements are the 4.5mm hook and a 46cm circular cushion pad.

There is no stitch diagram or chart. The Let’s Knit booklet contains no instructions for basic crochet stitches.
