Pay What Works: Inspired by the models of other designers that I trust and respect, I’m now offering a β€œPay What Works” model. I like this model because it accurately reflects the pride that I take in all of my designs and the effort that I put into them, while staying true to my heart: that knitting should be accessible to everyone, no matter what their current life situation.

I’m offering coupon codes to let you β€œchoose your price” for this pattern. Each of these codes will adjust the cost of the pattern to the final cost listed below (the cost listed is what you pay, not the discount amount). Please choose a price that you feel represents my work, but that also allows you to take joy in knitting this pattern without stress or financial burden.

NORICHAN1 - $6.00

NORICHAN2 - $7.20

NORICHAN3 - $9.60

NO CODE - $12.00

Please note for those located in Europe that VAT is applied at checkout.

Other ways to support my work is through leaving a tip via Ko-Fi, or becoming a supporter via Patreon.

Haruno is a lightweight hat that’s perfect for that transitional weather time. The touch of slouch and fun accent color edging will keep this hat in rotation from fall through spring!

US 3 3.25mm - 16” circular needle and DPNs
US 4 3.5mm - 16” circular needle (optional)
NOTE: some knitters find when they knit using the fair
isle technique, their gauge is tighter than when they knit
with just one color. If you find that this is true for you,
please use a larger needle size for the Sakura section.
Or size to obtain gauge.

Cedar House Yarns Sapling Sock (75% superwash merino,
25% nylon; 463yds 423m/100g)
Color A: 1 skein in Rhododendron.

the low yardage used for this color, it may be a good idea
to use a Sprout, a mini skein version of the Sapling Sock!

Or 140 (167, 212, 256) yds 128 (152.5, 194, 234)m of light fingering weight yarn.
