The Hash Socks pattern was designed for use in my Art of Mosaic Colorwork Workshop. Itis a charted slip-stitch mosaic pattern. The pattern is written for cuff-down socks using magic loop with a gusset heel.

This pattern is designed for the sock knitter who is familiar with sock construction but has not attempted to introduce color work to a sock pattern.

It is recommended to use colors that are in high contrast with each other in order to ensure the colors will not be absorbed by the color work.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn.
Yardage may vary based on the length of the sock and color selection for heel, toe, and cuff.

Needles: US Size 1 2.25mm or any size needle needed to meet gauge requirements for the pattern. The pattern is written to use the Magic Loop Method and a cord length of 32” or greater is recommended. You can also easily adapt this pattern for use with DPNs

Finished size to fit a foot size of S (6-7”), M (7-8”), or L (8-9”).

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner (2/5 difficultly)
