Hat with a Twist
This is a fun way to work a hat and perfect if you want to (or have to) clean up among the waste yarns in your stash.
The simple basic idea of the pattern makes it highly adaptable, and the finished hat can be turned inside out, upside down - or you let the brim be anywhere you want it to be along the hat.
That way, you get one hat that sports many different faces - and that even can serve as a hand muff of collar.
You see the same grey-yellow-blue hat in the pictures to the left!
If you chose one of the suggested yarns, you’ll need 2 balls for a child’s hat and 3 balls for an adult one.
In addition to the pattern description, including pictures to guide you along, the pattern also gives you links to video tutorials showing you how everything is done.
Head over to youtube and find “Hat with a Twist (Beautiful imperfectoins)” where I show you more of this hat.
Apart from your yarn, your working needles and some markers, you only need the materials for a provisional cast on (i.e. waste yarn, crochet hook, extra needles), a tapestry needle and a pair of scissors.
