This is a crochet pattern for the Hatzzup Beanie, a top down hat with coloured stripes and a ribbed brim

made to fit adult

I use the flat circle method to determine circumference for gauge

You will need about 100 grams of Aran weight or DK yarn and a 4 mm hook.
I used half a skein of both colours. But you can off course change colors to your wishes.
The pattern describes the stripes as in the picture.

It is an intermediate level, due to use of magic circle, 3d loop stitches and FPDC, BPDC

other materials needed are a pair of scissors, darning needle and if desired, a pompom or label to embellish the hat to your wishes

Alternative yarns used by testers are listed and include Red Heart Super Saver.
You can use a 4.25 mm hook, to match gauge with this yarn.

The pattern has been extensively tested by a group of experienced crochet testers from all over the world. They provided their notes in the projects, to help you choose your yarn and hook.

23 dec 2022 Added correction ; Nederlandse versie r23 moet zijn halve stokjes, not halve vasten
Dutch version r23 should say hdc, not ss.
