“Winter whispers in the wind as maple leaves fall around me, creating a carpet of fire ready to soothe the snow. “

The Havelock Cowl is the perfect cozy accessory to wear on a magical walk in an autumn wonderland. Its generous circumference can be worn over the shoulders, an ideal layer over a fall coat or as that extra bit of warmth in a drafty house. The interesting peaked lace edging pops in chunky tonal yarn, while architectural ribbing provides structure and warmth to the body of the cowl.

Havelock is worked in the round from the bottom up with no finishing. Instructions are given for four bust size ranges and the cowl circumference can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting ten stitches. Lace instructions are provided in written and charted format.

Havelock Cowl is a fun knit for the experience and newer lace knitter. It’s practical shape and unique lace edging will make it a staple layer in your cold weather wardrobe!
