This is an easy crochet pattern worked in simple half double crochet stitches, and includes 7 sizes!

Materials:

  • 51 (66, 78, 86, 117, 141, 177) Yards of Worsted Weight Yarn - I used WeCrochet Swish in Dove Heather
  • H8/5mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle

Yarn Alternative:
Lion Brand Wool Ease; Non-Wool: WeCrochet Brava, Red Heart Soft

If your beanie comes up a little short, and you have to add a round of single crochet to get the finished length, and happen to be a tight crocheter, I recommend working this round only in an I9/5.5mm crochet hook to help keep a looser round so there is no restriction in the final beanie.

Time Spent:
I was able to work up the teen/adult small size in 2 hours.

Sizes Included:
Newborn, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months, Toddler, Child, Teen/Adult Small and Adult Large

Gauge:
In the round starting with 10 HDC. Round 4 = 3.5” (or 3 1/2”)

Abbreviations (US Terms):

  • SC - Single Crochet
  • HDC - Half Double Crochet
