Haystacks is a well known mountain in Buttermere in the English Lake District. Well walked and well loved, it is a straightforward walk with some fun interest along the way. As it is with these socks, inspired by a recent family holiday. Some fun slipped stitch mock cables work their way along the sock – easy to work and easier to memorise they make for the perfect travel project, and the ribbing ensures a good stretchy fit – perfect for gifts and that picky man in your life.
