Hazel Bella Beanie is a simple hat that hugs your head without being too tight. The pattern consists of rounds of eyelets and an altered mesh stitch, resulting in a simple slightly slouchy beanie. Hazel Bella Beanie is the sister pattern to my ‘Wrapping Up Hazel Bella’ Wrap/Shawl.

Materials
1 Skeins Malabrigo Rios Diana 100g (approx. 195m/210yards) or any 10ply/worsted weight yarn (just check gauge)
5.5mm (US 9) 40cm circular needles
5.5mm (US 9) double pointed needles
stitch marker
stitch counter (optional)
tapestry needle

Gauge
4 stitches x 6 rows = 1inch (knit in the round)

Measurements
Approx. 22cm from beginning to crown x 23cm (ribbing band)
Size: 56cm circumference.

Abbreviations
K – knit
P – purl
yo – bring yarn over needle to make a stitch
K2tog – knit 2 stitches together
Kfb – Knit into the front and back of the same stitch.
