Heading North features vertically stranded colorwork and bold, contrasting colors in a fun and modern slouchy hat that is engaging to knit!

Vertically Stranded Colorwork is a fun technique that adds a splash of color as you knit (this is not duplicate stitch or finish work). Prior experience with vertically stranded colorwork is not needed - the pattern walks you through this fun technique step-by-step including helpful tips and photos. An intermediate level of knitting experience is recommended.

A minimum of two strongly contrasting colors of yarn is recommended, but more colors can be used if desired.

I understand that we all have financial struggles from time to time, and experiencing that situation shouldn’t stand in the way of our ability to knit beautiful projects. I invest a huge amount of time and energy in my patterns, and their price is very low considering how much effort they actually require. However, if you are unable to afford any Bright Eyes Knits pattern please send me a PM and I will add the pattern to your library for free. All I ask in return is that you create a Ravelry project page with photos and notes about your finished project so it can help other knitters, and that you share the completed project on any social media that you may use.
