Heart of the Fire Opal was inspired by a lovely merino and soysilk blend from The Fiberists. A silky and soft DK weight yarn, it has a beautiful sheen and drape.

This triangular shawl is knit from the bottom up. The sample used two skeins in DK weight, but you could use any weight from lace to Aran. For a larger shawl, you can add additional repeats of the Shawl Body (Chart B). If you increase the size of the shawl, you will need additional yarn.

Materials
Yarn - Boyer DK from The Fiberists, 290 yds/265 m, 2 skeins in Fire Opal.
