This pattern includes a list of materials needed and full instructions to create your blanket. I used Bernat Softee Baby Yarn in Soft Plum which is a DK weight yarn but you can use any yarn to make a beautiful blanket and can make it in any size you wish, just remember to use an appropriate hook size for your yarn. Gauge is not necessary for this pattern. The blanket I made using this yarn used approximately 300g of yarn and measured approximately 72 x 67cm.

This pattern is worked left to right and uses the following UK crochet terms. (US equivalent in brackets below).

Ch - Chain
Dc - Double Crochet (single crochet)
Tr - Treble Crochet (double crochet)
Ss - Slip stitch
