Heartscale is a charted sock pattern featuring lacework. The sock features a v heel and a round toe. It’s very easy to knit, just keep a close eye on the chart and stitch mark either side of the chart sts to avoid the pattern walking.

Knits up to a size 4-6 but there is plenty of stretch due to the lace pattern.

I used a 2.5mm circular needle for the body and cuff. You could easily swap this for dpns.

I used two balls of Sirdar Country Style 4ply in Gala Pink (0542). I think a single colour really suits this sock and helps the pattern stand out.

Customising options: Easiest method is to go up several needle sizes or even swap out the 4ply for a dk sock wool.

Note that the heel and toe sections of this sock are totally customisable so feel free to add in your favourite heel or toe.

Happy knitting and i look forward to seeing your photos and feedback.
