Heartsome is a simple and quick headband that you will whip up in a few hours. The embossed hearts are easy to make without any cables or complicated stitches but they give a fun and pretty result.

The headband is made to showcase that one special and slightly chunky skein you have in your drawer, just waiting for the perfect project!

The sample headband uses a local wool yarn from the north of Sweden, a rather compact yarn with very strong fibers. The wool comes from sheep of an unregistered breed from Härjedalen, a small region in the Swedish inland on the border of Norway, where the sheep have no doubt been imprinted by the beautiful snowclad mountains and deep forests.
