The Hello Brioche Hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. You can knit it in worsted weight, or in Aran weight. Aran weight is, of course, quicker and squooshier!

Aran weight shown in Knit Picks Muse (pink), 1 skein (110 yards/101 m) for largest size; I knit mine on a US 8 needle.

Worsted weight shown in Malabrigo Rios (blue), 1 skein, 190 yards for largest size; I knit mine on a US 6 needle.

The Hello Brioche hat is a design in my book Brioche Knit Love, 21 Skill Building Projects from Simple to Sublime, publication date October 19, 2021.

The book also includes the Hello Brioche Scarf (knit flat) and the Hello Brioche Mitts (knit round, flat, and round again), so you can explore more one color brioche before moving on to two colors.
