Hello Petal Blanket
The Hello Petal Crochet Blanket pattern is suitable for confident beginner crocheters who have a grasp of basic crochet stitches. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms.
The pattern explains how you join the hexagons as you go and includes pictures to guide where your joining stitches are placed.
The pattern comes with a handy colour planner, which will help you plan you colour placement.
The completed blanket will suitable for a baby (measuring approximately 70cm by 90 cm when finished) however due to the nature of this pattern you can easily make a larger or smaller blanket by adjusting the number of hexagons and half hexagons that you make.
What you’ll need:
• 2 x 100 g balls (approx. 552 meters) of your main colour (shown in the picture in Champagne White – Paintbox DK), each full hexagon without a border requires approximately 6 grams of yarn, and each half hexagon without a border requires approximately 3 grams of yarn. There are 50 full hexagons and 8 half hexagons in the pictured blanket A smaller or larger blanket will require less or more yarn
• Hooks: 4 mm (Size G), 4.5 mm (Size 7)
• Embroidery Scissors
• Darning Needle for weaving in your ends
