Herbarium Slipover
The Herbarium Slipover is a vintage-inspired, cropped piece that pairs beautifully with shirts or dresses. It features a simple yet elegant leaf motif that adds rich texture and structure to the garment.

The slipover is worked seamlessly from the bottom up in the round to the underarms. Then the front and back are worked separately, with short rows shaping the shoulders for a clean, tailored fit.

Finished measurements after washing/blocking, and worked at gauge:
Chest circumference: 94.5(100, 105.5) cm/37.25(39.5, 41.5) inches.
Body length to center back neckline: 42(44, 45) cm/16.5(17.25, 18.75) inches.

Yarn
350(375, 400) g, 735(790, 840) m/800(865, 920) yards of aran weight yarn.
Samples worked in Katia Concept Cotton-merino 105 m 115 yards per 50 g in Beige and Katia Concept Cotton-merino tweed 105 m/115 yards per 50 g in Red.

Needles
4.5 mm/US 7 80-100 cm/32-40 inch circular needles for the body.
4.0 mm/US 6 40 cm/16 inch circular needles for the neckline.
Cable needle, stitch markers and any other tools you normally use when knitting.

GAUGE
22 stitches and 29.5 rows / 10 cm/4 inches using 4.5 mm/US 7 needles.
Gauge was measured over the central panel stitch pattern, worked both in the round and flat and after washing and blocking.
