Herbarium slipover
Herbarium Slipover
The Herbarium Slipover is a vintage-inspired, cropped piece that pairs beautifully with shirts or dresses. It features a simple yet elegant leaf motif that adds rich texture and structure to the garment.
The slipover is worked seamlessly from the bottom up in the round to the underarms. Then the front and back are worked separately, with short rows shaping the shoulders for a clean, tailored fit.
What makes this design truly special is the feeling woven into it. It was created in honor of the quiet warmth and enduring strength of parental love — a soft memory of home, of safety, and of a gentle embrace. The name Herbarium speaks not only to the natural beauty of leaves, but also to the moments and memories we preserve, like pressed leaves tucked between the pages of a well-loved book.
A timeless knit that brings comfort, beauty, and meaning — perfect for wrapping yourself in warmth on chilly days.
This is a carted pattern and it has already been tested and tech edited.
