If you love cats or know the perfect giftee who would love a cat hat, this one’s for you! Say hello to the Here, Knitty Kitty Cap! This sweet and slightly slouchy hat features a squishy double brim and 10 colorwork cats. Can’t you just picture the cutest Halloween version?

Materials:
4 mm (US size 6/UK size 8) 16” circular needles for brim.
4.5 mm (US/UK size 7) 16” circular needles for body.
4.5 mm DPNs (Double-pointed needles) for decreasing top of hat.
Lion Brand Yarn Color Theory yarn (246 yards/225 meters and 100 grams per skein) or comparable category 4 yarn to achieve gauge. See below for colors and yardage.
Six stitch markers, one different than the rest for the beginning of the round.
Yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors.

Size:
Because of the large repeat, this pattern was written in one size for an average adult head size of 21-23” (53-58.5 cm).
