I created The Margot Beanie to be your go-to beanie of the season! Margot has no color changes/colorwork or tricky stitches…just solid color and simple knits and purls (and a few K2tog and P2tog for the decreases) that create a lovely tiled texture! A double brim will keep your ears nice and toasty.

This pattern includes three sizes:
Child - to best fit 19” head
Adult S/M - to best fit 21” head
Adult Large - to best fit 23” head

There is also information provided to make the hat in in-between sizes. My head is 22”, and I am comfortable in both the Adult SM/MED and Adult Large sizes.

You’ll need less than one skein of Lion Brand Color Theory yarn (246 yards/225 meters/100 grams per skein) for any of the sizes.

Gauge: 18 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette with 4.5 mm needles = 4 inches/10 cm.
