I called this a holiday because I made a lot of these scarves while on holiday, but also because the knitting is so rhythmic and soothing that making one feels restful like being on holiday.

This is a useful pattern for any yarn, but particulary for handspun because you will work 1/2 your yarn (by weight) for the increase section and the other half for the decrease section.

You will need scales to weigh your yarn (digital kitchen scales work well).

Intermediate level - the stitches used are knit, purl, kfb and ssk.
