Modular-knit, seamless, stranded socks to match my Hexistars hat.
The finished sock size depends on the hexagon size (there are three sizes available) and the number of hexagons (can be either three or four hexes around).
You can make any size socks depending on your knitting tension, hexagon size, and desired sock fit (loose or snug).
I don’t give the flat gauge because it is irrelevant with this kind of pattern. You will need to swatch one stranded hexagon to decide on the size that fits your preference.
Techniques used: stranded in-the-round, some short rows.

Materials:

  • 100g (400) m of each background and contrasting color will be enough for any size.

  • 2.5 (maybe 2.0mm)mm circular needles with metal tips;

  • tapestry needle to weave in ends;
