A seamless lace crochet pattern for an asymmetric bare shoulder shawl-type top with single drape sleeve. The piece wraps around the body and under one arm then drapes beautiful across the other side of the body with a single wide sleeve opening for the other arm. This piece could be worn as a beach coverup to dress up a bathing suit. Or, it can be thrown on over a tank or camisole to dress up an otherwise casual outfit. Although designed to be worn with one bare arm showing, you can also move the opening up to the neck and wear as a shawl or wrap across both shoulders with a wide boat neck opening at the top .

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Laid flat after blocking, the garment as shown measures approximately 15” wide at the neck and shoulder opening and 16” wide at the drape sleeve opening. The top is about 24” long from shoulder to hem but drapes to about 27” along the long asymmetric edge. It is a “one-size-fits-most” pattern. The motifs are designed to stretch. For a smaller size or more form-fitting top use a 3.5 - 4.0 mm hook, or omit a round of the motif pattern and join the remaining spaces accordingly.
The garment has considerable give as it is an open crochet, and the motifs have significant stretch, but if you want to adjust this for a fuller figure, you can increase the hook size to a 5.0-5.5mm hook to make larger motifs or add an additional round to the motifs. You can also add additional motifs to the edges of the pattern if you’d like to add longer drop sleeves
